Output increase

The yield increase of wind power plants through retrofitting systems or already for new plants is in line with the trend.

Almost all manufacturers today, have aerodynamic optimizations on the rotor blade profiles as well as additional aerodynamic elements such as vortex generators, which can be retrofitted to the rotor blade if necessary.

The WTS products in the form of the back-flow-flaps and the 3D-Serrations allow an indirect yield increase of up to 20 %, depending on the turbine and profile type, e.g. through enlarged rotor blades in new turbines.

The 3D-Serrations allow a retrospective yield increase of up to 6 % through improved night mode operation, especially for existing turbines.
